PPD Names Global Laboratory Services VP

David Johnston, Ph.D., has been appointed executive vice president of global lab services at PPD. Dr. Johnston will direct PPD’s comprehensive laboratory services in Asia, Europe and North America, including bioanalytical, vaccines and biologics, cGMP and central laboratories. Dr. Johnston joins the company from LabCorp, where he served most recently as senior vice president and global head of the clinical trials business.
